"It has been six days since they revealed the ritual for summoning the book. As any sane person would expect, we were initially skeptical. But, the cultists began to converge immediately. We do not understand the mechanism by which this thing has spread so quickly - but it is clear that they must be appeased. I shudder to consider the consequences of disappointment. I have spoken with their leader, and tonight - when Arcturus crests the tree tops, he will speak the "Three Words of Power" - and open the way for 25 more!

He has some poor devil slaving over the additional preparations. I pray the man can withstand the strain - but his eyes just gleam madly, and his hands flex and itch as if with eagerness to begin..."
